MOSCOW, February 5. /TASS/. The Russian Agriculture Ministry authorized imports of 2,201 metric tons of butter under the quota exempt from duties, the ministry said.
The balance of butter covered by the tariff quota amounted to 22,799 metric tons as of February 5, 2025, the ministry indicated.
Therefore, the volume approved for supply is 2,201 metric tons.
On November 29, 2024, the council of the Eurasian Economic Commission canceled the duty on imports of 25,000 metric tons of butter to Russia. The decision came into force on December 23 and is effective until mid-June 2025.
