ALMATY, December 6. /TASS/. The Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) has invested more than $2 bln in various projects of its member states this year, Chairman of the Management Board of the development bank Nikolay Podguzov said, adding that next year’s investments are expected at around the same level.
"Overall we suggest that financing [of projects] this year will exceed $2 bln. This is one of the bank’s highest results since its foundation. Regarding planned targets, we have a strategy through 2026. Next year we also plan new investments at around $2 bln," he told a briefing.
The Eurasian Development Bank is an international financial organization, which is involved in investment activities across Eurasia. The organization includes Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, and Tajikistan.
