MOSCOW, November 5. /TASS/. The Russian Finance Ministry will allocate 87.5 bln rubles ($894.8 mln) for the purchase of foreign currency and gold from November 7 to December 5 within the framework of the budget rule.
The daily volume of transactions will amount to the equivalent of 4.2 bln rubles ($42.95 mln), the ministry said in a statement.
"The total volume of funds allocated for the purchase of foreign currency and gold is 87.5 bln rubles. The transactions will be carried out from November 7, 2024, to December 5, 2024, respectively, the daily volume of purchases of foreign currency and gold will amount to the equivalent of 4.2 bln rubles," the Ministry of Finance said.
From October 7 to November 6, the Russian Ministry of Finance planned to allocate funds in the amount of 71.8 bln rubles ($734.19 mln) for the purchase of foreign currency and gold within the framework of the budget rule. The daily volume of transactions amounted to the equivalent of 3.1 bln rubles ($31.7 mln).
