Russia’s industrial production down 3.1% in September — statistics

It is reported that processing industries sector lost 1.8% in annual terms in September 2022 (up 1.9% in January - September)

MOSCOW, October 26. /TASS/. Russia’s industrial production edged down by 3.1% in September 2022 in annual terms but gained 0.4% in January - September of this year on an annualized basis, according to the documents released by the state statistics service Rosstat on Wednesday.

Industrial production had an uptick by 0.5% in September against August 2022.

Processing industries sector lost 1.8% in annual terms in September 2022 (up 1.9% in January - September). Mineral resources production swamped by 4% year-on-year in the reporting month (down 0.5% over nine months). Electricity, gas and steam supply dropped by 1.5% annually in September (+0.3% in January - September). Water supply, drainage and waste disposal declined by 7.5% in annual terms last month (dropped by 5.5% in January - September), Rosstat reports.
