Inflation in Russia continues going down — Putin

The Russian leader noted that inflation in the Eurozone is 10%

NOVO-OGAREVO, October 6. /TASS/. The inflation level in Russia dropped to 13.5% year-on-year and this indicator is higher in certain European countries, President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday at the meeting on economic matters.

"Inflation continues declining. It dropped to 13.5% as of the end of the last week," Putin said.

Inflation in the Eurozone is 10%, the President noted. Putin also cited indicators in individual European countries: 10.9% in Germany, 17.1% in the Netherlands, 22.4% in Latvia, 22.5% in Lithuania, and 24.2% in Estonia.
