Gazprom to create record-high gas reserves for winter

The company plans to increase potential maximal daily throughput to 852.4 mln cubic meters

MOSCOW, April 21. /TASS/. The Executive Committee of Gazprom ordered to create a record-high gas reserve of 72.7 bln cubic meters for the next winter, the Russian gas holding said on Thursday.

"The Executive Committee tasked discipline teams and subsidiaries for the reliable operation of the unified gas supply system during the winter season of 2022-2023: to create by the start of the next lifting season the operation reserve of gas in underground gas storages in Russia totaling 72.7 bln cubic meters and increase the potential maximal daily throughput to 852.4 mln cubic meters. Therefore, indicators will reach new record levels," the company said.

The operating gas reserves in underground gas storages in Belarus will be 1.1 bln cubic meters and in Armenia - 0.11 bln cubic meters.
