MOSCOW, April 15. /TASS/. The Bank of Russia has canceled the 30% limit on advance payments under foreign trade contracts for tourist services, repair and maintenance of buildings and structures, the regulator’s press service said on Friday.
"The Bank of Russia made the decision to cancel the 30% limit on advance payments for foreign trade contracts for provision of services in the sphere of tourism, repair and maintenance of buildings and structures," the regulator said.
It will also be possible to make advance payments in full for services of nonresidents from friendly states in the sphere of exhibitions or for services of nonresidents for organizing exhibitions, fairs and congresses on the territory of friendly states, the Central Bank noted.
"Softening of currency control rules will make it possible to improve foreign economic conditions for Russian tourist companies and support promotion of products of domestic manufacturers on international markets," the regulator said.
The Bank of Russia earlier softened currency control rules under foreign trade contracts in the transport sphere and for certain contracts with the value up to $15,000.
