MOSCOW, February 28. /TASS/. Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu held a meeting with heads of defense enterprises in the Tula Region, the ministry reported on Wednesday.
"The Russian defense minister held a working meeting with the participation of Tula Region Governor Alexey Dyumin, heads of enterprises and representatives of military governance agencies," the ministry said in a statement.
"The Russian defense minister handed down an order to adjust the schedule of delivering the entire range of manufactured armaments to the troops, move equipment delivery deadlines to the second or third quarters of this year, as well as to maintain stable deliveries of weapons throughout the year," the statement added.
The Russian defense minister noted that the Tula Region was home to the production of an enormous range of weapons and military equipment.
"This production involves both rocket and tube artillery as well as counter-battery warfare capabilities," Shoigu said.
