BANGALORE, February 3. /TASS/. Russia and India are holding talks on the upgrade of Il-76 transport aircraft in service with the Indian Air Force, the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) told TASS on Wednesday.

"We are holding consultations on the upgrade of operating airplanes of the Il-76 family," a UAC spokesperson says.

UAC is also ready to consider the opportunity of renewing the fleet of Il-78 aerial tankers made on the Il-76 base, the corporation added.
