It said Hamas "confirmed the death of Gaza Prime Minister Essam al-Daalis, who died in an Israeli airstrike." Also, the militants admitted that during the Israeli Air Force raid on the territory of the enclave, Yasser Harb, a member of the political bureau of the movement, Bahjat Abu Sultan, the head of the internal security service of the movement, Mahmoud Abu Watfa, the deputy head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Hamas government in Gaza, and Ahmed al-Khatta, the Deputy Minister of Justice of the sector, were killed.
On March 18, the IDF carried out large-scale attacks against Hamas targets in the Gaza Strip, while US Axios journalist Barak Ravid posted on the social network X, citing the office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, that Israel had resumed military operations against Hamas in the enclave.
According to the latest report by Al Arabiya, the death toll has exceeded 400, while 1,000 people were injured. About half of the dead were victims of an airstrike on the administrative center of the Gaza Strip, Gaza City, the TV channel reported.
