NEW YORK, March 4. /TASS/. The decision of US President Donald Trump to halt military aid to Ukraine will primarily influence armored vehicles still under repairs in the US, the country’s officials told ABC News.
According to them, at least 90% of all US help provided to Kiev by the previous US administration is already in Ukraine. This included ammunition, anti-armor weapons, and anti-tank systems, with Javelin anti-tank missile systems among them.
A Pentagon representative earlier told TASS that the United States has suspended military aid to Ukraine. According to him, this halt affects all US military equipment that is not in Ukraine at the moment, including the arms transported by sea or sky, or awaiting further transportation in Poland’s transit zones.
According to Reuters, Trump’s decision to freeze the military aid to Ukraine has come into force on Tuesday at 4:30 a.m. Moscow time (1:30 a.m. GMT).
