Turkish president sees Gaza genocide as disgrace for humanity

"Those who unconditionally support Israel’s aggression must know that they are complicit in its crimes," Recep Tayyip Erdogan stressed

ISTANBUL, November 7. /TASS/. The genocide that Israel is committing in the Gaza Strip is a disgrace to all of humanity, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said at a European Political Community summit in Budapest.

"The genocide that has been going on in Gaza for a year is a disgrace to all of humanity, not to mention [Israel’s] illegal attacks on the West Bank and Lebanon. Those who unconditionally support Israel’s aggression must know that they are complicit in its crimes. I urge all countries that haven’t yet recognized Palestine to do so in order to contribute to global justice and peace," Erdogan said, as cited by the Anadolu news agency.

He also called for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and unhindered humanitarian aid deliveries to the region.
