Voting at UNGA showed Israeli supporters are in minority, says Erdogan

Back then, 14 countries, including the United States, voted against the resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire, release of all civilians and unhindered humanitarian supplies

DUBAI, November 11. /TASS/. According to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the recent voting at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) on a resolution calling for a ceasefire in the Middle East showed that Israeli supporters are in minority.

"During voting at the UNGA, 121 countries voted for the resolution. This showed how isolated Israel and those who support it are," the Turkish leader told an extraordinary joint summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the League of Arab States (LAS), currently underway in Riyadh, as he referred to the 10th Emergency Session Session of the UNGA that wrapped up on October 27.

Back then, 14 countries, including the United States, voted against the resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire, release of all civilians and unhindered humanitarian supplies.
