WASHINGTON, March 10. /TASS/. Under the draft US budget for fiscal year 2024, appropriations earmarked for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) stipulate that the US will replace Russia as a partner of the European Space Agency (ESA) on a Mars exploration project, the White House revealed on Thursday.

"The budget provides increased funding for two Mars missions that are partnerships with the European Space Agency, including one in which the United States is replacing Russia as a partner," the relevant document said.
