MURMANSK, January 25. /TASS/. Brasilia and Moscow are in talks on the possibility of Brazil’s high-level visits to Russia this year, Ambassador to Russia Rodrigo de Lima Baena Soares told reporters on Wednesday following his meeting with Governor of the Murmansk Region Andrey Chibis.
"We’ll probably have more visits: Russia in Brazil and Brazil in Russia, in high level meetings, high level authorities. We are negotiating exact dates and venues, but we are going to have them," the ambassador said in response to a question from TASS about the visits in 2023.
The diplomat recalled that on January 1, Speaker of Russia’s Federation Council Valentina Matviyenko was present at the inauguration ceremony for Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva.
