BRUSSELS, November 10. /TASS/. The European Parliament has endorsed the European Commission’s proposal to streamline the cross-border transport of goods between the European Union, Ukraine and Moldova, European Parliament President Roberta Metsola said on Thursday.
"The European Parliament voted for measures facilitating the cross-border transport of goods between the EU, Ukraine and Moldova," she wrote on Twitter.
The European Union’s leaders approved EU membership candidate status for Ukraine and Moldova at a summit in Brussels on June 23. The countries need to comply with a number of requirements, particularly carrying out reforms, before talks on joining the EU can begin.
