First North Korea’s missile does not fly over Japanese territory, says TV

Earlier, the Japanese Coast Guard reported that the missile's trajectory passed through the airspace in the area of Miyagi, Niigata and Yamagata prefectures

TOKYO, November 3. /TASS/. Japan’s government has figured out that the first missile launched by North Korea on Thursday did not fly through the country’s airspace, the NHK TV channel reported citing the Japanese Defense Ministry.

Earlier, Japan’s Coast Guard said the trajectory of the missile fired toward the Pacific Ocean ran through Japan’s airspace in the area of Niigata, Yamagata and Miyagi prefectures.

North Korea launched three missiles, presumably ballistic ones, on Thursday. The Japanese authorities are currently investigating the circumstances of the launches.
