Baku tries to present excuses for beginning war against Armenia, Karabakh — Pashinyan

Azerbaijan first voices some ideas on diplomatic and public platforms and then accuses Armenia of non-compliance, Armenia’s Prime Minister noted

YEREVAN, March 31. /TASS/. Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan believes that Azerbaijan’s latest statements are an attempt to create a legitimate basis for launching large-scale military operations against Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh.

"Azerbaijan first voices some ideas on diplomatic and public platforms and then accuses us of non-compliance and attributes some promises to Armenia," Pashinyan said at a government meeting. "Then it accuses us of defaulting on agreements. It is obvious that Baku tries to legitimize a large-scale offensive against Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh."

Also, Pashinyan said that Azerbaijan was spreading fakes Armenia had allegedly provided four Sukhoi-30SM planes to Russia for using them in Ukraine.

"This is outrageous disinformation," Pashinyan said, adding that these planes have never left the country’s territory since the moment Armenia imported them.
