KAZAN, November 5. /TASS/. Retired boxer Lennox Lewis, the last undisputed world heavyweight champion, is considering acquiring Russian citizenship, vice president of the Russian Professional Boxing Federation Andrey Ryabinsky said on Thursday.
"True, we have discussed this," Ryabinsky told TASS. "I don’t know if he’s serious. But Lennox is thinking about this."
Lewis currently holds dual British and Canadian citizenship.
Titled US-born boxer Roy Jones Jr. received a Russian passport in late October following a meeting with President Vladimir Putin.
