ROME, November 14. /TASS/. Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev lost his chances to reach the semifinals of the Association of Tennis Professionals Tour Finals in Turin, Italy.

In the final group game, he lost the first set to Italy’s Jannik Sinner with the 3:6 score. The Russian could only reach the playoffs if he won two sets. Sinner had secured a semifinal qualification before he faced Medvedev. American player Taylor Fritz is another semifinalist.

If Medvedev defeats Sinner after three sets, the Russian player will lose to the Italian by percentage of games won.
