New Year trees and decorations are beginning to appear in Moscow ahead of the upcoming celebrations. More than 1,100 public New Year trees will be put up in Moscow ahead of the traditional winter festival, Journey to Christmas, the event’s organizers said earlier. The Manezhnaya Square next to the Kremlin will be turned into a labyrinth of over 350 Christmas trees. The Journey to Christmas festival will be held from December 22 to January 14 at 79 sites in all parts of the city.
