GROZNY, October 7. /TASS/. About 10,000 Chechen combatants are fighting in Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine, Chechnya Head Ramzan Kadyrov said at a festive lineup of the republic’s security, defense and law-enforcement agencies in honor of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s 70th birthday on Friday.
"About 10,000 of our courageous sons are already fighting on the frontiers [in the area of the special military operation]. Additional regiments will set off for the zone of the special operation in the coming days. Each day, our republic is receiving volunteers who trust our instructors and want to join the ranks of the Akhmat formations," the Chechen leader said.
This is a display of "the consolidation of Russian society that Akhmat-Khadzhi Kadyrov [the first head of the Chechen Republic] and Vladimir Putin dreamt of," Kadyrov stressed.
"Western intelligence has been waging a subversive information war, trying to make Russians believe that the Chechen Republic was not a part of Russia," he went on to say. "However, we have proven that we, the Chechens, are an inalienable part of Russia's big family," Kadyrov emphasized.
Regardless of the special operation’s outcome, "Russia and we will rub out the Satanists and the Chechen-speaking Shaitans down to the very last one in any place of the world," he assured.
"With the help of Allah the Almighty, we will cleanse the earth of this abomination," the Chechen leader vowed.
