Ski season kicks off in Russia’s Kamchatka Region

There are nine ski centers in the region, which boast 27 ski trails totaling about 380 kilometers

PETROPAVLOVSK-KAMCHATSKY, December 9. /TASS/. The 2023-24 ski season has kicked off at a ski center on Mount Moroznaya in Russia’s far eastern Kamchatka Region, an official from the regional Sports Ministry told TASS.

"This year, outdoor enthusiasts will be able to enjoy seven ski slopes and Kamchatka’s only chairlift," the official said, adding that ski lifts, rentals and cafes were open.

There are nine ski centers in the region, which boast 27 ski trails totaling about 380 kilometers.
