West ignores Kiev’s violations of international humanitarian law — Russia’s UN mission

"Kiev regime uses civilians as human shields and deploys air defense systems in close proximity to residential areas," Dmitry Polyansky said

UN, September 24. /TASS/. The undeniable violations of international humanitarian law by Ukraine are consistently ignored by the West, First Deputy Permanent Representative of Russia to the UN Dmitry Polyansky stated.

"The name of this country [Ukraine - TASS] has become synonymous not only with rampant corruption and total lawlessness but also with glaring double standards, which the collective West and the media under its control demonstrate in the Ukrainian context. Nowhere else in the world, in no other conflict, are undeniable violations of international humanitarian law so consistently ignored as those committed by the Kiev regime, which uses civilians as human shields and deploys air defense systems in close proximity to residential areas," he said during a UN Security Council meeting.
