Kiev tried to pass off Ukrainian army’s panic escape from Sudzha as regrouping — expert

"And, naturally, after such slaughter, they would hardly want to continue their service under the direction of the Ukrainian military command and Zelensky," Andrey Marochko said

LUGANSK, March 13. /TASS/. The Ukrainian military command tried to pass off the panic escape of its troops from Sudzha in Russia’s borderline Kursk Region as the force regrouping, military expert Andrey Marochko told TASS on Thursday.

"As for the regrouping into more advantageous positions as [Ukrainian Army Commander-in-Chief Alexander] Syrsky claimed, there was no regrouping. This rather looked like an escape and panic. Moreover, information on this score is already available from Ukrainian militants themselves who posted videos on social media and from the [Russian] Defense Ministry that posted live-recording images, which showed that there was no planned retreat. This was panic escape," the military expert pointed out.

As the military expert presumed, some Ukrainian soldiers are deserting after their escape from the Kursk Region as they are disenchanted with Ukraine’s military command.

"And, naturally, after such slaughter, they would hardly want to continue their service under the direction of the Ukrainian military command and Zelensky," he said.

Ukraine’s Army Chief Syrsky claimed on March 12 that Ukrainian troops had received an order to withdraw from Sudzha in the Kursk Region. He tried to pass it off "as a maneuver to move to more advantageous positions."
