MOSCOW, March 12. /TASS/. Russia’s Investigative Committee (IC) has found that the 2024 Crocus City Hall attack was plotted and carried out in the interests of Ukraine’s current regime, IC Spokeswoman Svetlana Petrenko said.
According to her, the Investigative Committee "confirmed that that inhumane crime was plotted and carried out in the interests of Ukraine’s current regime to destabilize the political situation in our country."
A number of those accused had also planned to blow up an entertainment center in Kaspiysk in the Russian North Caucasus republic of Dagestan but their terror plot was foiled, Petrenko added.
Earlier on Thursday, a military court in Moscow sentenced 15 of the 19 defendants in the Crocus City Hall attack case to life terms.
