MOSCOW, December 19. /TASS/. The issue of the burial of Vladimir Lenin’s body is highly sensitive, Russian President Vladimir Putin said during the combined Direct Line Q&A session and year-end press conference.
"These are certainly not the questions to be addressed during a Q&A session or press conference. All of them are exceptionally sensitive and delicate," the head of state said, commenting on several questions posed by Ksenia Aksyonova, a reporter from the Spas TV channel.
She raised the topics of the burial of Vladimir Lenin’s body, the ban on abortions, and pornography websites.
Speaking about abortions, Putin emphasized that it is necessary to ensure that people’s religious beliefs are respected, while also addressing issues related to demographic challenges.
"At the same time, we must consider the welfare of Russian families and their future, as well as the rights of women to make their own decisions. This is a highly sensitive issue, which should not be resolved during a press conference," the president added.
