Russia offers souvenirs, food at UN fair — diplomat

Gennady Gatilov noted that different countries, peoples, and continents are represented at the event

GENEVA, November 15. /TASS/. Russia offered souvenirs and traditional national cuisine at the International Festival Bazaar being held at the UN’s Geneva Office, head of the Russian Permanent Representation Gennady Gatilov told TASS.

"The charity bazaar organized annually by the UN Women is a very important event," the diplomat said. "It is essentially the central UN event. Many missions take part, different countries, peoples, and continents are represented there. It unites people for a noble cause, as the proceeds go to help children in need," he added.

Countries set up tables on two floors in the Palace of Nations. Thousands of Geneva residents visited the fair.
