MOSCOW, March 30. /TASS/. Visas for foreign journalists in Russia are issued as usual, there are no additional restrictions, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Yevgeny Ivanov told reporters on Thursday, commenting on the situation with Wall Street Journal reporter and US citizen Evan Gershkovich, who was detained earlier in Yekaterinburg on espionage charges and arrested in Moscow,
"Visas are issued as usual. We don't have any restrictions, unlike our European colleagues, who, as you know, have made visa issuance more complicated," the diplomat added.
Ivanov noted that no difficulties were expected with the issuance of visas to US nationals, or citizens of other countries.
