Russia to respond to US’ obstruction of its participation in UN session — diplomat

According to the spokeswoman, Washington aims to increase the confrontation with Moscow by any possible means

MOSCOW, May 5. /TASS/. The US disrupted Russian delegation’s participation in the UN Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues session in violation of its obligations, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said in her commentary Thursday, adding that Moscow will respond to the US’ aggressive course.

"The US authorities once again obstructed arrival of Russian representatives to the event, hosted under aegis of the UN," the diplomat noted. "Such aggressive course, naturally, will not be left without response."

According to the spokeswoman, Washington aims to increase the confrontation with Moscow by any possible means.

"The goal is obvious - to increase the confrontation with Moscow by any means, by blocking Russia’s representatives from normally working at the UN venue," Zakharova underscored.
