MOSCOW, January 1. /TASS/. Over 100,000 consumers have been left without electricity in Ukraine’s western Volyn Region due to damage to critical infrastructure facilities, regional administration head Ivan Ruditsky said.

"According to the VolynOblEnergo company, 103,341 consumers are without electricity," he wrote on Telegram.

Air raid sirens went off in the region last night; local media outlets reported explosions in the town of Lutsk.
