SEOUL, December 29. /TASS/. Specialists found no problems during the pre-flight inspection of the Boeing 737-800 airplane of South Korea’s Jeju Air company before the crash, the company’s Director General Kim Yi-bae said.

"The inspection of the plane was carried out according to the program, there were no signs of malfunction in this plane," the Hankyoreh newspaper quoted him as saying. He added that specialists should analyze the data from the black boxes, including communications between the plane's captain and dispatchers.

"It is up to state authorities to determine the cause of the incident as part of the investigation. At the moment, it is impossible to confirm claims of a collision with birds," he noted.
