KURSK, December 21. /TASS/. Acting governor of the bordering Russian region of Kursk Alexander Khinshtein reported a heat supply interruption in 88 residential buildings in Rylsk following a Ukrainian missile attack on the town.
"Restoring heat supply is a key task currently. Damage on the heating lines resulted in a heat supply interruption in 88 residential buildings," the official wrote on his Telegram channel.
According to him, repair teams are working at the site.
Khinshtein earlier said the Ukrainian strike occurred at 3:30 p.m. Moscow time (12:30 p.m. GMT) on Friday. According to him, several HIMARS rockets were shot down as civilian facilities were picked as targets. The Russian Investigative Committee is investigating the attack which killed six people, including a child, as a terrorist act.
