MOSCOW, March 23. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin has held a phone call with his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko who expressed his condolences over a terrorist attack on the Crocus City Hall, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters.
"The Belarusian president expressed deep condolences over yesterday’s terrorist attack in Moscow. The parties confirmed their readiness to cooperate in the fight against terrorism," he said.
The terrorist attack took place at the Crocus City Hall in the town of Krasnogorsk outside Moscow late on March 22. Unidentified gunmen armed with automatic weapons went on a shooting spree. According to the latest data from Russia’s Investigative Committee, 93 people were killed but that number may grow. According to the Russia Health Ministry, 115 people remain hospitalized. The Federal Security Service (FSB) has announced the detention of 11 people involved in the attack, including four perpetrators.
