GENICHESK, January 26. /TASS/. Nearly 40 artillery shells were fired by Ukrainian troops at settlements on the Dnieper left bank in the Kherson region during the night, a spokesman for the local emergencies services said on Thursday.

"During the night, the Kiev regime continued to shell civil infrastructure facilities in the cities of Alyushki, Novaya Kakhovka, Kakhivka, Rybachye, Vasilyevka, and Tavriisk. In all, 39 artillery shells have been fired. Casualties and damages are being verified," he said.

Ukraine’s army continues to shell cities located on the Dnieper left bank: Alyoshki, Golaya Pristan, Kakhovka, and Novaya Kakhovka. Shelling attacks are reported practically every day.
