MOSCOW, January 1. /TASS/. A bridge with people on it collapsed in Moscow’s Gorky Park, injuring five, an emergencies source told TASS on Tuesday.
"A bridge collapsed at a skating rink in Gorky Park, there were people on it," the source said, describing the collapsed structure as a "wooden bridge five meters tall."
"Five people were injured," he said, adding that three of them were in serious condition.
A source in the Russian capital’s emergencies ministry department confirmed the information, saying that rescuers were called in, but were not engaged in any effort on the site.
