MOSCOW, October 9. /TASS/. The Russian stock indices gained more than 2% after declining 1.6% during the main session at the Moscow Exchange.
As of 11:32 a.m. Moscow time, the MOEX Index declined after rising at the start of the main trading session, dropping 1.6% to 2,521.43 points. The RTS Index also fell 1.6% to 974.04 points.
By 1:11 p.m. Moscow time, the MOEX Index had resumed growth, rising 2.17% to 2,618.01 points, while the RTS Index was at 1,011.34 points (up 2.16%).
At the opening of trading, according to data as of 10:01 a.m. Moscow time, the MOEX and RTS indices were up 0.73% to 2,581.19 and 997.12 points, respectively.
