WASHINGTON, April 16. /TASS/. The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has maintained its forecast for Ukraine’s GDP growth rate in 2024 at 3.2%, according to the organization’s report on the prospects for the development of the world economy presented in Washington.
According to the fund's estimates, in 2023, Ukraine's GDP growth rate was 5%. The organization also released a forecast for 2025, which states that this figure will rise to 6.5%.
As noted in the document, inflation in Ukraine in 2023 amounted to 12.9%. The fund predicts it will slow to 6.4% in 2024, and then accelerate to 7.6% in 2025.
According to the IMF, the country's unemployment rate reached 19.1% in 2023. The organization assumes that this indicator will drop to 14.5% in 2024 and to 13.8% in 2025.
