Miratorg shipped first batch of pork to China, company says

The company looks forward to stable demand and gradual growth of supplies subject to compliance with Russian and Chinese veterinary requirements

MOSCOW, March 7. /TASS/. The Russian agro-industrial holding Miratorg shipped the first batch of pork totaling 27 mln metric tons to China, the company said.

"Miratorg, the leading agro-industrial holding of the full-scale in Russia, reports the shipment of the first batch of pork produced at Korocha meet processing plant of the holding to the People’s Republic of China," the company said. Miratorg shipped 27 metric tons of ready products within the framework of the first supply, it added.

The company looks forward to stable demand and gradual growth of supplies subject to compliance with Russian and Chinese veterinary requirements.

"The first batch comprises byproducts that undergo high-quality processing and are available for sale all year round, irrespective of the season," Miratorg said.
