Russia intends to double trade turnover with Uzbekistan by 2030 — Deputy PM

Russia is among the key investors into the economy of Uzbekistan, Denis Manturov said

MOSCOW, December 15. /TASS/. Russia reckons on increasing the trade turnover with Uzbekistan by more than two times by 2030, Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov said at the meeting of the bilateral commission on economic cooperation.

"As you know, the year of 2022 was record high for us in this regard - 785 bln rubles ($8.7 bln). We register sound growth at the level of 11.5% as of the end of nine months of this year. Our priority task is to increase mutual trade turnover by more than two times by 2030; we have all the preconditions in place to do this," Manturov said.

Russia is among the key investors into the economy of Uzbekistan, he added.
