BREST /Belarus/, November 10. /TASS/. Russia’s economic growth is expected at 3% by the end of this year, Economic Development Minister Maksim Reshetnikov said.
"We register that our economies not only survived, but they are reaching record levels on many indicators. We expect this year’s economic growth in the Russian Federation at the level of 3%," he said at a joint meeting of collegiums of the Russian Economic Development Ministry and the Belarusian Economy Ministry in Brest.
"This is a good figure, better than August projections," the minister said.
"This comes with growth of households’ real earnings, <…>, growth of industry, manufacturing, growth of investment," he added.
Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov said in early November that the country's economy would grow by 2.8% in 2023.
According to the Central Bank’s base-case scenario, Russia's GDP growth rates would reach 2.2-2.7% this year. According to the socio-economic forecast released by the Ministry of Economic Development, GDP growth in the country is projected at 2.8% in 2023.
