MOSCOW, October 10. /TASS/. Fesco Transport Group has opened a subsidiary Fesco Turan in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, to develop and provide logistics services in that country, as well as in Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan, the group’s press service reported on Monday.
"The Fesco Transport Group has opened a subsidiary in the Republic of Uzbekistan to develop logistics services in the region. Fesco Turan was registered on October 6, 2022 in Tashkent. The company will provide a full range of logistics services to customers in Uzbekistan, as well as in Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan," according to the statement.
The subsidiary will develop rail container transportation from Europe to Uzbekistan and between South Asian countries and Uzbekistan through the port of Novorossiysk, Fesco added.
In January-September of this year, Fesco transported about 8,500 TEU to Uzbekistan. In 2021, the volume of traffic totaled 9,000 TEU.
