MOSCOW, October 15. /TASS/. Russian aviation, missile and artillery forces hit four command posts of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over the day, official representative of the Russian Defense Ministry, Lieutenant-General Igor Konashenkov said on Saturday.

"Strikes by operational-tactical and army aviation, missile and artillery forces hit four command posts of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 53 artillery units in firing positions, forces and military equipment in 142 districts," he said.

At the same time, Russian artillerymen eliminated up to 50 servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and a field warehouse with ammunition in the Kharkov region. Konashenkov stressed that the Armed Forces of Ukraine over the past 24 hours have not carried out offensive operations in the Kupyansk direction, as they did the day before.

He noted that the Russian Aerospace Forces, rocket troops and artillery forces destroyed Ukrainian landing forces in the area of the Kakhovka reservoir. "According to updated data, more than 50 Ukrainian servicemen, five high-speed boats, two barges, five tanks and four combat vehicles were destroyed as a result of strikes by the army aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces, missile troops and artillery forces in the area of the Kakhovka reservoir," he said.
