"This is a very important task," the Russian president said

MOSCOW, December 29. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed to continue the effort on the expansion of the security belt on the border between Russia and Ukraine in 2026.

"This is a very important task, because it provides for safety of Russian border regions. This work should certainly be continued in 2026," the head of state said.

The Russian leader commended the Battlegroup North for its efforts and results achieved by personnel.
