TEHRAN, November 8. /TASS/. Iran’s two-day plan for opening the Strait of Hormuz is still on the table and if Washington meets Tehran’s demands, it will see the result, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said.
"American voters have made their choice (in the midterm elections on November 3 - TASS). Time for the White House to make its own. Our 2-day proposal stands: meet the requirements, including end to war on all fronts, and you will see results. Or choose war, and see our alert and battle-hardened warriors rain down hell," he wrote on X.
On November 1, the top Iranian diplomat said that Tehran was holding consultations on the plan for the Hormuz Strait with mediators, but there were no final results. Earlier, he said that during the talks Iran had agreed to reduce the duration of the implementation of the plan for opening the Strait of Hormuz to two days.
