Lukashenko vows to fulfill everything promised in his election program

The approach is to forge a way for the country to move forward, the Belarusian leader stressed

MINSK, March 25. /TASS/. Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said that he will definitely honor all commitments indicated in his election program.

"The election program outlined the contours of our strategy. You know: everything we promised will be achieved. Together with you. For the welfare of the country and the Belarusian people," Lukashenko said during the inauguration ceremony on Tuesday. The approach is to forge a way for the country to move forward, the Belarusian leader stressed.

"A strong economy remains at the heart of our policy, serving as a key to success. Promising investment projects, innovative production and new jobs are our top priorities for the next five years," Lukashenko said.

Lukashenko pledged to pursue a socially-oriented market economy model and continue the relentless fight against red tape and corruption.

"Despite all obstacles, we will preserve the people-first economy model based on mutual responsibility of the state and society. We will further enhance the efficiency of state administration and continue the relentless fight against red tape and corruption. As always, we will address it openly and publicly. We will tackle this problem within this five-year term. I promise it," the Belarusian leader said.
