BEIRUT, March 22. /TASS/. At least two people were killed and another 11 suffered injuries in an Israeli attack on the city of Tyre in southern Lebanon, the Lebanese Health Ministry said.
"The number of casualties may grow," the ministry pointed out.
Israel carried out airstrikes on facilities allegedly belonging to the Hezbollah Shia militia in eastern and southern Lebanon.
Earlier, Israel conducted at least 20 strikes on ground targets in southern Lebanon in response to the launch of projectiles towards the town of Metula in Upper Galilee. The strikes destroyed a home in the settlement of Touline, killing four people and leaving at least ten injured.
