LONDON, March 3. /TASS/. The issue of using frozen Russian assets is a very difficult one but London will continue working on a legal mechanism to do that, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer said when speaking in the House of Commons of the UK Parliament.
"On the assets themselves, it is a very complicated issue, not straightforward. But I do think we need to do, and I'm doing more work to look what are the possibilities at least along with other countries. But I will not pretend that this is simple or straightforward," Starmer said.
The Prime Minister also spoke against the immediate lifting of anti-Russian sanctions in case of ceasefire, adding that they should remain effective as the critical part of the country’s arsenal.
