WASHINGTON, February 27. /TASS/. US President Donald Trump has confirmed that he intends to sign an agreement with Vladimir Zelensky on the mining of rare earths and other minerals in Ukraine.

"We need the rare-earths [deal]," Reuters quoted the US leader as saying at the beginning of a meeting with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer at the White House.

"I will be signing the deal together with Ukrainian President [Vladimir] Zelensky," Trump emphasized.
