MOSCOW, February 26. /TASS/. Vladimir Zelensky admitted that the minerals agreement with the United States does not contain security guarantees for Ukraine, only a one-sentence mention alluding to them.
"It (the agreement with the US —TASS) does not contain all the security guarantees that Ukraine wanted to see, but I wanted at least a mention of guarantees to be there, and there is one in the framework agreement, paragraph 10, I think," he said in a televised interview.
Earlier, Ukrainian edition European Pravda published the full text of the agreement, which, it said, the government had agreed to. The document is expected to be signed in Washington on February 28.
On February 26, Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmygal said that Kiev would not consider a minerals deal with the United States without security guarantees.
